The starting point
A consultant finishes a planning discussion with a few useful next steps. They want to organize one of them in an EVO built-in app, and still be able to open and edit the item themselves without speaking to the assistant again.
A conversation can contain an excellent plan while leaving the user to recreate it in another tool. The opposite shortcut is just as unhelpful: an assistant might claim it has created a task when it only wrote a suggested title in its reply.
What you bring
- A specific item and the intended destination in a supported built-in app.
- Selected app information the user permits EVO to read.
- Any details that genuinely change the outcome, such as which existing task should be updated.
What EVO needs to understand
EVO distinguishes discussing a task from changing an app record. It can work with selected supported app information and prepare a proposed change. If a decisive detail is missing, an optional question can collect it while independent authorized work continues; an unanswered question is not permission to guess a write.

Choose the right destination
Start with the app and item relevant to the current request. A note, task and calendar entry serve different purposes, and support differs by app. The selected read scope does not silently grant access to the whole collection.
Prepare a useful change
Review the proposed content against the user's goal. For a task, the meaningful result might be a clearer title or a supported update to an existing item. Preparing the proposal is still separate from creating or changing the actual record.
Confirm the saved result
Approve through the supported application flow, then read back the item. The observed app result gives a firmer basis for saying the work was done than the assistant's own sentence. A changed item or uncertain outcome needs another review.

- A concrete app-change proposal related to the conversation.
- A saved app item when the supported operation is approved and confirmed.
- A record that connects the proposed change with its actual outcome.
When you come back
Open the built-in app directly to use the saved item, or revisit its work record before asking for the next change. The app remains a user-facing workspace, not merely a command hidden behind the assistant.

- Choose the app data EVO may read and approve supported changes separately.
- Answer a clarification now or later; saving an answer does not itself execute a new task.

Implemented foundation
- Independent built-in app pages, selected reads and reviewed supported changes exist in the Mac development build.
Next milestones
- App operations vary; this is not universal access to third-party apps or a promise of every calendar feature.
- EVO Mail, external mail, mobile synchronization and public access retain separate availability gates. Real-model clarification quality still needs further evaluation.
